Home > Message from the Board
Thank you for visiting our site to find out more about Community Living Port Colborne
- Wainfleet. If you are looking for services there is a complete list of Department
Heads in the Administration
house, also see: Services We Offer house. If
you are wondering what you can do to assist in our work here are some of the
things we are doing.
At the present time the Board is aggressively developing a master plan for
our facilities. This includes our administrative, program, and residential
properties. We are exploring possible community partners both private and
Government. We are looking for ways to meet the Ministry guidelines around
the Making Services Work for People initiative, and to understand our relationship
to Contact Niagara. We are also the advocate for many of the clients who reside
in Port Colborne.
You can help either through financial support. We are a registered Not for
Profit Corporation and as such can issue charitable receipts for financial
donations. The other way you can be of service to your community through our
Association is to join as a member and volunteer to serve on our Board of
Directors. We are always looking for volunteers to work directly with clients
as tutors, friends, respite providers, or other short term commitment. If
you have read our Goals and Mission and feel this
is something that you would find rewarding, we would be happy to sit and talk
with you of the many ways we can use your help.
Once again I would like to thank you for your interest in our programs and
needs.
